  • Solar Plexus Chakra

    The Solar Plexus or Manipura means “City of jewels” it’s located at the navel center. It is commonly depicted as a downward or upward-facing red triangle, and it’s associated with the fire element. Having a strong inner fire can help empower your life experiences. Energetically, Manipura's function is to optimize our personal power with strength, confidence and determination. The Solar Plexus Chakra is the core of your personality, your identity, of your ego and is directly linked to your willpower. While the Sacral chakra seeks pleasure and enjoyment, Manipura is all about the perception of who you truly are. The energy of this chakra allows you to transform inertia into action and movement. It allows you to meet challenges and move forward in your life. Assess your Needs Am I concious of what I choose Do I choose love, light, and healing? Do I accept that I have the power to choose?   • Throat Chakra Check-In

    The Throat Chakra or Vishuddha means “to purify” is located near the base of the throat. It is often depicted as a blue downward-facing triangle inside a lotus with 16 blue petals. Vishuddha is associated with the element ether, or “space” (akasha), and with speaking one’s truth. Its energetic function is to help us find authentic self-expression. The throat chakra is the first of the spiritual chakras. The Throat Chakra is the fifth chakra and it is the first of the higher or spiritual chakras on the "chakra ladder". This chakra is located in the region of neck and shoulders and its color is blue. The gift of this chakra is accepting your originality, expressing your authentic voice and speaking your truth. Embracing your unique self-expression is part of the throat chakras function. The energy of this chakra allows you to seek knowledge that is true, beyond limitations of time and space, beyond cultural and family conditioning. Assess your Needs Do I dare to be creative?   • Crown Chakra Checkin

    The Crown Chakra, Also known as Sahasrara or the thousand-petaled lotus is located just above the crown of the head. It is said to be the doorway into pure consciousness, it is often depicted as a thousand-petaled lotus with a pinkish aura or even violet collared hue, and it is not associated with any physical element as it is considered to be beyond the physical world. Sahasrara connects you to divine energy and is associated with our highest self. Sahasrara helps us function in a more enlightened way, cultivate self-mastery, mindful living, universal love and it gives a sense of connection with all. Activating this chakra is done through meditation and prayer. This highest of the seven major chakras is awakened through aligning yourself with the divine as this the most powerful energy centre.   • 7-day chakra check-in

    Use the 7 major Chakras as a guide to direct your self-healing efforts. In this challenge each day you will be offered an opportunity to focus on 1 of your seven major chakras. Each chakra is associated with not just a kind of energy, but also all the organs, muscular and subtle body systems adjacent to the chakra. Through focusing on the sensations and inner knowing, your healing journey will be guided by the intuitive information and the physical sensations that arrive with focusing your attention on these systems. It is entirely up to you as to the healing method you use. As we are all unique practitioners, it is best to use whatever modality you are trained in and most comfortable with. All modalities are welcome! Each day you will receive a prompt and an affirmation to use while healing the physical and subtle bodies associated with the chakra of the day. Please focus only on the day's challenge as it will be enough. You can do the challenge at any time you choose. Remember this is intended to improve your day, not become an inconvenience. It is often depicted as an orange lotus with six petals; it’s associated with the water element, fluidity, adaptability, creativity, emotions, sexual energy, and the unconscious. The second chakra’s energetic function is to help you to regulate your emotions and desires, so as not to be driven by them. To become more deeply connected to your Sacral Chakra, it is helpful to explore the nature of your passion and re-connect with your creative energies. Assess your Needs Do you love your body? Do you enjoy feeling your body? Do you have a fulfilling sex life and do you allow yourself to experience pleasure?     The Heart Chakra or Anahata Translates beautifully as, “unstruck”. It is located at the heart center. Anahata is typically depicted as a green six-pointed star surrounded by 12 lotus petals. On a spiritual level, it’s said to be the home of the higher/infinite, indestructible self. Anahata is associated with the air element, and with emotional qualities such as peace, love, and openness. It is the bridge between the upper and lower chakras and communicates the needs of all energy centres. Anahata is the chakra associated with the hidden forces within. This gentle energy centre opens you to greater love in your life. The heart chakra - the wellspring of love, warmth, compassion, and joy is located in the center of the chest at the heart level. The function of Anahata is to move love through your life. It helps you to give and receive love. It is the center of your deep bonds with other beings, your sense of caring and compassion, your feelings of self-love, altruism, generosity, kindness, and respect.     The Third Eye Chakra or Ajna translates to “command center” this chakra is located between the eyebrows. Represented by a transparent lotus with two white petals, it’s considered to be the seat of the mind, of conscious and unconscious awareness. The third eye helps you in examining self-limiting ideas and developing wisdom that comes from a perspective that transcends the duality of good or bad, black or white. It means seeing and helping others to see the deeper meanings of the situations in their lives. This, your sixth chakra is holistic in nature. When this chakra is fully activated, both hemispheres of the brain function in synchrony. The right hemisphere's creativity and intuitive thinking is integrated and balanced with left hemisphere's logical and analytical thinking. Assess your Needs Do I understand my own intentions?
