  • September’s Eclipse Corridor: Dissolve → Discern → Deliver

September isn’t pulling any punches. We’re walking straight into eclipse season, and if you’ve been feeling like you’re juggling fog while Mercury sets your calendar on fire — well, congratulations, you’ve noticed, and you're not the only one! This month gives us a Pisces Total Lunar Eclipse , a Gemini Last Quarter Moon , a Virgo Solar Eclipse  at the last gasp of the sign, and a Capricorn First Quarter Moon  to finish the job. Translation: things end, things unravel, things get swept up in Virgo’s obsessive cleaning spree, and then Saturn comes along to make sure we actually build something instead of just sighing into our oat lattes. Let’s break it down. I think what makes this month so dynamic is that so many things that have been brewing are finally on their way to some form of culmination. As you know, my dear mystic, everything comes in cycles. A waveform that happens discretely, and paradoxically interwoven with several other waveforms. Everything in the physical world, whether it is an event, a life or even a microcosmic organism, all begins with an inception, followed by a trajectory of increase, a culmination and then a decrease which completes in cessation. Cycles within cycles, waveforms, interwoven into other waveforms. Eclipses, though, are especially striking in terms of the cycles of our lives and the experiences that are either beginning or ending. When these alignments occur, they appear to be intrinsically linked to events in our lives that have come to critical mass in a manner of speaking. Something is either set to begin or end. And, in so doing, we are set on another waveform that carries us into the next chapters of our lives. That being said, my dear Mystic, an eclipse doesn't promise a dramatic showing of this beginning or end. The configuration between the Sun, Moon and Earth that is an eclipse can actually set things in motion in a very subtle way. We can just feel a shift, or have an inner knowing that from this point forward, everything will be different. In some cases, this energy can manifest in very dramatic ways. Projecting us into new circumstances or life conditions. Other times, something significantly and demonstratively draws to a close. Either way, it's not just the eclipse itself we need to watch for, but instead keep an eye on the energy that is shifting in your life. Keep your awareness trained on the waveform that is flowing and which areas of your life seem to be agitating. Here are the Lunations coming in September and the dates that complete the cycle of eclipses for 2025 🌕 September 7 — Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (15°22′) Ruler: Jupiter. Keywords: unravelling, catharsis, soggy tissues. Lunar eclipses are Full Moons on steroids, so to speak, except instead of feeling extra, you usually feel like the universe just rang the “plot twist” bell. In Pisces, the sign of dissolution, dreams, and “what even is  a boundary?” — we’re looking at an ending with emotional undertow. Something’s been floating around in the background, and now it rises up, soggy and undeniable. That thing that has been hovering around and has left you asking - is this ever gonna end? It is about to come to a close. I'm not promising there won't be dust to settle, but I am saying that whatever you may be saying goodbye to is closer to finally being done. For some of us, this may be painful and feel like a severing of a long-standing tie. For others of us, it may come as the long-awaited catharsis that sets us free. My advice - Let it go. Really. Do the ugly cry, run a bath, pour one out for what’s leaving. The point isn’t to save it — it’s to dissolve it. Jupiter wants you to remember: there’s grace in a clean goodbye. Whatever is going on isn't meant for you anymore, and it's more than ok to move on. 🌗 September 14 — Last Quarter Moon in Gemini (21°52′) Ruler: Mercury. Keywords: too many tabs open, delete three. Quarter Moons are decision points, and the Last Quarter is where we stop fiddling around and start cutting. In Gemini, the cut is mental. Ideas, conversations, distractions, that podcast you swear you’ll listen to but never do — it’s all noise. If Pisces eclipsed you into a puddle, Gemini, here is basically your brain saying: “For the love of the gods, just pick one narrative already.” Don't take that the wrong way. It's not a criticism or a punishment. Instead, it's the universe conspiring in your favour. As the Lunar eclipse has either begun or completed the work of dissolving something in your life, the last Quarter Moon is helping you to collect and focus your thoughts. Tough decisions are still tough, but you can use this energy to clearly define what was perhaps unclear for you previously. So, in my opinion, this energy is here to help you pick one. One plan, one path, one inbox folder. And if you must argue with someone, keep it short — Mercury likes to communicate, and when the Moon is in a Mercury-ruled sign, it's all about being efficient. In Gemini, sometimes we fight the battle between what the heart wants and what the head needs. Do your best to avoid dividing your attention. Instead, focus on matters in front of you by priority. Use Gemini's airy nature to think logically. 🌑 September 21 — Partial Solar Eclipse in Virgo (29°05′) Ruler: Mercury. Keywords: purge, polish, perfectionism on its last legs. Ahh, here we are back in Elcipse town... and the Sun is the mayor. A solar eclipse is a New Moon with a kick: something shuts down so a different door can creak open. At 29° Virgo, once again we’re talking about endings-with-a-flourish, Virgo-style. That means spreadsheets, reorganizing your spice rack, rituals of purification, and tying bows on things you’ve left dangling for months. It’s not about chasing perfection; it’s about finishing what you’ve been polishing into dust. If Virgo is good at anything, it's proficient in observing patterns, but masterful in calling out inconsistency in those patterns. It is able to sort through that which is useful and that which nas become out-moded. Advice:  Don’t overdo it. Just close the damn file, send the email, or finally let that “work in progress” become either “done” or “deleted.” Your future self will thank you. 🌓 September 29 — First Quarter Moon in Capricorn (7°05′) Ruler: Saturn. Keywords: bricks, deadlines, reality checks. Finally, the First Quarter in Capricorn. If Pisces sobbed, Gemini babbled, and Virgo polished, Capricorn says, “Cute. Now, actually build something.” Saturn rules this sign, so we’re dealing with responsibility, structure, and the slow grind of real  progress. No shortcuts. No manifesting your way out of it. Just brick by brick. Advice:  Pick one structure and stick to it. Schedule, budget, boundary, ritual — it doesn’t matter what, as long as it’s durable. Saturn rewards effort, not excuses. The Eclipse Season In a Nutshell Think of September as a three-act play with an extra scene tacked on: Act I: Pisces (Sept 7)  — The waters rise. You let go, you weep, you float something out to sea. Act II: Gemini (Sept 14)  — You stop talking in circles and trim the noise. Act III: Virgo (Sept 21)  — You purify, finish, or clean out the metaphorical (and literal) closet. Encore: Capricorn (Sept 29)  — You build. Slowly, seriously, sustainably. If You Want It Personal… If you want to know more specifically about how and where these final eclipses of the 2025 series are affecting you, check where Pisces and Virgo fall in your chart. That axis is where the eclipses are doing their heavy lifting. Those of us with personal planets or sensitive points in the sign of Virgo are likely to feel this energy very powerfully. Wherever these signs land in your chart is sort of in the “plot shift” zone, so watch those houses for big closures and sharp pivots. Capricorn is where you’ll need to get serious, and Gemini is where you’ll have to stop spreading yourself thinner than supermarket hummus. To be fair, not all supermarket hummus is thin! That being said, if you would like more clarity on how these eclipses may affect you or what is in your unique birth chart, click the button below to book an appointment. Last But Not Least Contrary to what some internet folks might have said, Eclipses aren’t times to manifest or launch your passion project. They’re times of major beginnings and endings. Instead take a little time to sit back, observe the waveforms undulating in your life. See the places in your world that seem to be touched by agitation or stagnation. Remember that everything in life is temporal in nature and that something is always starting and something else is stopping. The passive and active forces in our lives are always in motion. Do your best to avoid doing anything irreversible while the proverbial lights are flickering. Think of September as cosmic housekeeping: Pisces floods the basement, Gemini tells you to cancel half your subscriptions, Virgo organizes the junk drawer, and Capricorn comes in to build the new shelves. Take it slow, take it wry, and when in doubt: don’t force it, go with the flow, surf the waves. After all, if nothing changes, nothing changes.

  • Sunny with a Chance of Karma

Let me ask you a question: Have you ever checked the weather before heading out the door? Of course, you have. Nobody wants to get caught in a downpour without an umbrella or dress for a heatwave when there’s a cold front barreling through. Now imagine if you had a similar forecast—but instead of predicting rain, it revealed the energetic patterns influencing your relationships, career, and even those “Why is this happening to me?” moments. That’s astrology in a nutshell: your cosmic weather report. Astrology often gets a bad rap. For some, it conjures images of glittery newspaper horoscopes or vague platitudes like, “You’ll meet someone mysterious.” But the truth? Astrology is far more nuanced and infinitely more useful than pop culture gives it credit for. It’s an ancient practice rooted in observation, mathematics, and, yes, a bit of magic that helps us understand the energies shaping our lives—past, present, and future. When I look at someone’s natal chart, I’m not just reading personality traits or quirks (though that’s part of the fun). I’m interpreting an intricate map of potential. It’s like standing at the crossroads of fate and free will, holding a guidebook that helps you make the most of both. What Is Astrology, Really? At its core, astrology is a symbolic language—a way to understand the relationship between celestial movements and the experiences we have here on Earth. Your natal chart, calculated from the exact time, date, and place you were born, is like a snapshot of the sky at that moment. It reveals the unique energies imprinted on you and how those energies interact throughout your life. Contrary to what many think, astrology isn’t entirely about predestination. It’s not telling you  what  will happen or what you will do and how, but instead, it's showing you the conditions under which events are likely to unfold. As I mentioned before, try and think of it like a weather forecast. Knowing rain is on the way doesn’t mean you’ll get wet—it just means you should grab an umbrella. Similarly, knowing you’re entering a period of transformation doesn’t dictate your choices, but it helps you prepare for them. Past, Present, and Future One of the most compelling aspects of astrology is its ability to contextualize life events. Have you ever looked back at a challenging period and wondered, What the hell was that all about?  Astrology can often provide an answer. By examining the planetary transits during that time, you can understand the larger energetic patterns at play. It’s a bit like watching the replay of a game—you gain clarity on how the pieces came together (or fell apart). The Path And then there’s the forward-looking power of astrology. While it’s not a crystal ball, it can show you when the tides of life are likely to shift. Are you heading into a phase of expansion and opportunity? Or maybe it’s a quieter season for introspection and recalibration. Knowing the timing of these shifts allows you to work with, rather than against, the flow of your life. Even the present moment benefits from astrological insight. When we feel stuck or restless without knowing why, our charts can shed light on the inner and outer forces at play. It’s like suddenly seeing the pattern in a puzzle you’ve been staring at for too long. Famous Examples Astrology’s benefits aren’t just for starry-eyed mystics. Throughout history, some of the world’s most influential figures have turned to astrology for guidance. President Ronald Reagan and his wife, Nancy, famously consulted astrologer Joan Quigley during his time in office. Far from a whimsical indulgence, this practice helped them navigate pivotal moments in their political career. In the financial world, J.P. Morgan—one of the most successful businessmen in history—was an avid believer in astrology, famously declaring, “Millionaires don’t use astrology; billionaires do.”  And then there’s pop icon Beyoncé, whose meticulous approach to her career reportedly includes astrological timing for major decisions. So, even people who are in the public eye and sometimes hold positions of great power understand the benefits of using the stars and planets to guide their choices! More Than “What’s Your Sign” Sagittarius One of the biggest lessons that comes with having your personal astrology does, is finding out that astrology is far more than just learning about your Sun sign. I can't tell you how many readings I've done where my client says - "I know I'm a Scorpio, but I'm not your "typical" Scorpio." or they say something like, "You know us Libra's, we just can't make a choice." or I', not like all those other Leo's because I don't like to be the center of attention." While the Sun is undeniably important (it represents your core essence), it’s just one piece of a much larger puzzle. The fact is, just like you, your birth chart is totally unique. The positions of the planets, stars and signs are just as one-of-a-kind as you are. Your Moon sign speaks to your emotional world, while your rising sign reflects how others perceive you. And then there’s Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn—the entire celestial crew—each representing different areas of life, from relationships to ambition to karmic lessons. A natal chart reading dives deep into these layers, offering insights into your life path, purpose, and even the challenges you’re here to overcome. Astrology doesn’t shy away from the tough stuff. It shows us the patterns and energies that might trip us up—and, more importantly, how we can work with those energies rather than against them. Why Astrology Matters My mom once asked me - "what's the point of astrology, Alysa? What's it for?" I had to think about that for a while, then I realized that we live In a world that often feels chaotic and unpredictable, astrology offers a framework of understanding. It reminds us that we’re connected to something larger than ourselves—a cosmos that’s vast, mysterious, and surprisingly precise. I would not say to you that Astrology has all the answers, but it does provide a perspective that can help us make sense of life’s complexities. It invites us to step back, look at the bigger picture, and align our choices with the natural rhythms of time and the universe. It can provide clarity about the past, guidance for the future, or simply a deeper understanding of yourself. It’s not about being helpless or about being told what you are GOING to do. It's but navigating life’s waters with greater awareness. After all, if you’re sailing through this wild adventure called life, wouldn’t it help to have a map—and maybe a glimpse of the weather ahead? • Mars - Pyroeis, The Firey One

Mars has always fascinated me, both as a celestial body and as an astrological powerhouse. Let’s start with the facts. Astronomically, Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun, orbiting at an average distance of 142 million miles. Its ruddy complexion comes from the iron oxide coating its surface, giving it the famous "Red Planet" moniker. Mars is about half the size of Earth, with a diameter of just over 4,200 miles, and its gravity is only 38% of Earth’s—making it the perfect playground for future astronauts hoping to hop around its surface. One of the most fascinating things about Mars is its similarity to Earth in certain ways. Like Earth, it has seasons, thanks to its axial tilt, though its year is much longer, stretching across 687 Earth days. A day on Mars—called a sol—is just a touch longer than ours, clocking in at 24 hours and 39 minutes. Mars also boasts two quirky little moons, Phobos and Deimos, which are likely captured asteroids. These potato-shaped companions orbit Mars with a sense of mystery befitting the planet they call home. From its towering Olympus Mons, the largest volcano in the solar system, to the sprawling Valles Marineris canyon system, Mars’ terrain is as dramatic as its astrological reputation. And speaking of astrology, that’s where Mars truly shines—or burns. Astrologically, Mars is the planet of action, drive, and raw energy. It’s a warrior in every sense of the word, embodying courage, ambition, and, yes, conflict. Mars rules over two zodiac signs: Aries and Scorpio. In Aries, Mars expresses itself boldly and directly. It’s fiery, impulsive, and ready to charge into battle without a second thought. In Scorpio, Mars takes a more calculated approach. Here, it operates in the shadows, strategizing, transforming, and enduring. Aries is the day domicile of Mars, a place where its fiery energy is unfiltered, while Scorpio is its night domicile, a realm where Mars’ intensity is channeled into emotional depth and persistence. Mars is exalted in Capricorn, a placement that gives it structure and focus, making its drive unstoppable and its ambitions monumental. Conversely, Mars struggles in Cancer, where its fiery nature is smothered by emotion, leaving it feeling out of its element. It’s also in detriment in Libra and Taurus, signs that prefer harmony and stability over Mars’ natural inclination toward action and conflict. As part of the nocturnal sect, Mars is more at home in night charts, where its influence can be constructive rather than purely combative. Even so, Mars is a malefic planet, traditionally associated with difficulties and challenges. That might sound harsh, but Mars isn’t just about conflict—it’s also about courage and resilience. Properly harnessed, its energy can be transformative, pushing us to achieve greatness. But when poorly placed or unchecked, it can manifest as aggression, recklessness, or destructive tendencies. Mars doesn’t just stroll through the zodiac—it storms through it. Its synodic cycle, or the time it takes to appear in the same position relative to the Sun as seen from Earth, is about 26 months. During that time, it spends roughly six to seven weeks in each zodiac sign, except when it goes retrograde. Mars retrograde happens about every 26 months, lasting for two to two-and-a-half months. During these periods, Mars appears to reverse its motion in the sky, and its usual forward thrust is replaced by introspection. This is a time to reassess our actions, motives, and desires rather than charge ahead. In a natal chart, Mars shows where and how we assert ourselves. Its house placement reveals the area of life where we pour our energy, face conflicts, and seek victories. Mars in the first house, for instance, can indicate someone who is bold and assertive, while Mars in the seventh house might point to passionate but potentially combative relationships. Aspects to Mars from other planets can enhance or challenge its expression. A harmonious aspect to Venus might bring charisma and magnetism, while a hard aspect to Saturn could create frustration or blockages in pursuing one’s goals. The signs Mars rules—Aries and Scorpio—each wear its influence differently. Aries is all fire and instinct, leaping into action without hesitation. Mars here brings leadership, initiative, and a touch of impulsiveness. Scorpio, on the other hand, tempers Mars’ energy with emotional intensity and a strategic mindset. People with Mars in Scorpio often possess remarkable endurance and a talent for navigating life’s undercurrents, but they may also struggle with possessiveness or a need for control. Mars is the spark that ignites our passions and the fire that burns away what no longer serves us. Its placement in a natal chart is vital for understanding how we handle conflict, assert ourselves, and pursue our goals. While its influence can sometimes feel harsh, it’s ultimately about growth through challenge. Mars teaches us that life’s battles—whether external or internal—are where we find our strength. It’s not just a cosmic warrior; it’s our personal drill sergeant, pushing us to be braver, stronger, and more resilient. Thanks for reading! • Exploring Compatibility Beyond the Sun Sign

Hey Mystics! Compatibility is one of the most significant topics that comes up with people and their interest in astrology. I can't tell you how many times I've heard people say that this sign can't get along with that sign, and it drives me nuts! If you're like me, you're probably wondering why people say that, so I thought exploring astrological Compatibility Beyond the Sun Sign would be enlightening. When it comes to relationships, one of the most common questions in astrology is, “Are our Sun signs compatible?” For many, the idea of opposites—such as Aries and Libra or Taurus and Scorpio—might feel like an automatic dealbreaker. But contrary to popular belief, having opposite Sun signs doesn’t mean you’re incompatible. In fact, it can create a dynamic, complementary partnership where each partner brings out the best in the other. As you will see, astrological compatibility is about understanding the whole picture, not just a single detail like your Sun sign. Let’s explore why opposites attract, how they can complement each other, and the deeper connections found in a full synastry chart. Watch The Video - If you don't wanna read :) Opposites in the Zodiac: A Cosmic Dance of Harmony In astrology, the zodiac wheel is divided into pairs of opposite signs. These pairs—such as Cancer and Capricorn or Leo and Aquarius—share the same modality (cardinal, fixed, or mutable) but differ in element and approach. While they may seem fundamentally different, opposite signs balance and complete each other. Where one partner may lack, the other can provide, creating a beautiful synergy when approached with mutual understanding. Examples of Opposite Sun Sign Pairings: Aries (Fire Sign) and Libra (Air Sign): Aries thrives on action and independence, while Libra seeks harmony and connection. Together, they create a partnership where passion meets diplomacy. Aries encourages Libra to take bold steps while Libra teaches Aries the value of collaboration and compromise. Taurus (Earth Sign) and Scorpio (Water Sign): Taurus offers stability, patience, and grounding energy, while Scorpio brings emotional depth and transformative power. This duo can be a masterclass in loyalty and devotion, with Taurus providing the safe foundation Scorpio needs to explore their intensity. Gemini (Air Sign) and Sagittarius (Fire Sign): When taken together, these often curious, adventurous spirits are driven by a love of exploration and learning. Gemini brings versatility and intellectual stimulation, while Sagittarius adds optimism and a broader perspective, making them a dynamic pair of lifelong learners. Cancer (Water Sign) and Capricorn (Earth Earth): Cancer nurtures and protects, while Capricorn builds and achieves. Together, they form a partnership where emotional security and practical stability intertwine. Cancer softens Capricorn’s focus on ambition, while Capricorn provides structure to Cancer’s emotional world. Why Compatibility Goes Beyond the Sun Sign While opposite Sun signs can create an exciting and fulfilling dynamic, true compatibility is found in the intricate details of the entire birth chart. The Sun sign represents only one piece of the puzzle—our core identity and how we approach participating in life. To understand the full relationship dynamic, synastry (the comparison of two birth charts) considers factors like: Moon Signs: The Moon governs emotions and inner needs. A harmonious Moon connection can create deep emotional understanding, even if the Sun signs differ. Venus and Mars Placements: These planets rule love and desire, respectively. Venus reveals what we value in relationships, while Mars shows how we pursue our passions. Favorable aspects between these planets can ignite strong chemistry and lasting attraction. Rising Signs: The Ascendant (Rising Sign) reflects how we approach life and first impressions. Complimentary Rising signs can help partners "click" on a practical, day-to-day level. Aspects and House Placements: Aspects (angles between planets) and where planets fall in each partner’s houses add another layer of depth. For example, a partner’s Jupiter in your 7th house of relationships can indicate someone who brings joy, growth, and optimism to your union. Opposites Can (and do!) Attract—and Thrive Opposite Sun signs can be incredibly fulfilling when the relationship is nurtured with mutual respect and understanding. They remind us that differences don’t divide us—they enrich us. By embracing these differences, couples can learn from each other’s strengths, balance out their weaknesses, and grow together. However, Sun sign compatibility is just the tip of the iceberg. For a deeper look at your unique connection, a synastry chart reading can uncover the planetary dynamics shaping your relationship. When it comes to love, remember, taken together, the planets and the signs they are in illuminate many layers of personality and can help uncover the deeper dynamics that drive attraction, compatibility, and growth within a relationship, offering insights that go far beyond surface-level connections. Welp, There's lots more I could tell you, but I'm sure you got other stuff yu need to do. I hope this helps! Thanks so much for reading!! Love you Alysa   Anyhoo - Thank you for reading! • 3 Ways to Know You're Ready to Read Tarot For Others

I remember when I first started reading Tarot, I recall looking at all those cards and feeling equal parts fascinated and intimidated. All those cards, all those symbols, all those meanings. My fascination was only rivalled by my sense of inadequacy. How the hell does anyone ever learn all of what Tarot has locked within its 78 cards? It probably won't surprise you when I say that I had far more questions than answers when I started my journey. Bar none; I have to admit that my biggest question was how do I know when I'm ready to read the cards for someone else? Because, let's face it, I've always been very enthusiastic about doing stuff that excites me. After a few years of experience reading the cards for myself... I was ready to start reading for other people. At first, I felt like a little kid whose training wheels were just pulled off their little pink bike for the first time. I felt wobbly and unsure; none of the. There are several factors that let you know when you're ready to read for others. So, I thought I would share them with you... after all this forum is about learning. 1. You know how to trust your impressions and intuition. This is the one that I think most people struggle with at one point or another. You pull a card and look at it... You've memorized the meaning, but for some reason, it doesn't fit the question totally. What to do, what to do? To me, this is where you have to lean on your intuition. Every card in a traditional or standard deck has a meaning that is universal, but that doesn't mean it is singular. As a good reader, you will need to know how to adapt the meaning of the card to answer the question. This is where you let your intuition kick in and do its job. Take what you're sensing and use the card as a framework to help you uncover the answer to the question. With some practice, you will get stronger at this. Just understand that it is the practice that helps you become more confident. 2. Confidence I'm not saying that you need to be confident that you have every meaning, both subtle and obvious, and that you are committed to memory flawlessly to be confident. While it doesn't hurt, it is for sure NOT a requirement. The kind of confidence I'm talking about is the kind that allows you to make mistakes and survive. Over my career, I have made countless mistakes... like the kind where you're even surprised at how badly you've mangled a reading. Oh yeah, I've been there a few times. But here's the thing: I'm human. Therefore, it's expected that I will goof up. Or I'll have a day where I'm speaking clear gibberish... like everything comes out as awkwardly as possible. The trick here is to adapt. If you know, you've messed up or feel things are going in the ditch. Just be honest. You are HUMAN, as well as intuitive. The more honest you are about your reading, the more confident you will become. Which will inevitably lead to more comfort. Not to mention, if and when you make a mistake, your recovery will be faster, and your confidence will stay intact. 3. Develop your own style Just like every other art, reading Tarot has standards that were born in traditions kept generation after generation. Learning the fundamentals either on your own, in a course or with a good mentor is only part of the equation. I recommend learning from several sources, teachers and mentors. Read many books and practice often with several kinds of decks. You will surely find that after the standards are learned, and you have seen many methods of using the cards, you will start to feel out what works for you and what doesn't. You will have your favourite spreads, cards, and even ways to begin and end readings. Developing your own style is important for your comfort, confidence, intuitive abilities, and uniqueness, and most certainly, it is important if you plan to go professional. Don't forget, Tarot is a tool that evolves with you. This is perfect because what works for you now may not even come close to what works in 5 months or even five years. I hope that helps! What do you think is important for people who are just getting ready to read for others? How did you know when you were ready? Chime in! Interested in learning Tarot? • 7 Signs You've Been Psychically Attacked & What To Do About IT

Alright, pull up a chair and listen closely because I wanna talk to you, my dear Mystic, about keeping your energy happy, humming and healthy. So, "psychic protection" – yep, it's totally a thing. It's like an invisible umbrella for all that unwanted negative mojo floating around. Why? Keeping my mind all nachos and kombucha and reducing my stress levels is kind of my jam. And let's face it, who wants bad vibes crashing their party? Now, just for you, I've got some nifty tips up my sleeve to help you stay on top of this psychic protection game. And, bonus: I'll even throw in a guide on how to spot if some sneaky psychic critter has tried to mess with you. Oh, so let me tell you about those "psychic attacks." You know, those spiritual zaps that supposedly happen when someone sends a whole bunch of bad vibes your way, aiming to rain on your parade? Oh yeah, they can come from anywhere: moody people, malicious entities, or even your own delightful dark cloud of a mood sometimes. And let me tell you, dealing with a psychic attack? It's a whole spectrum—from "Did I just feel something?" to "Why am I emotionally and physically in a blender?" Fun times, right? In case you're wondering if you are - or ever suffered one of these little "gifts", I will give you the most common seven signs that you may have suffered a psychic attack and what you can do to protect yourself. It's important to be aware of these signs, as it allows you to take steps to protect yourself and seek out professional help if necessary. So, if you suspect that you may have been a victim of a psychic attack, read on to learn more about how to identify and overcome these negative energies. Sudden and intense feelings of anxiety or fear: A psychic attack can cause sudden and intense feelings of anxiety or fear, even if there is no apparent reason for these feelings. Physical symptoms: A psychic attack can manifest as physical symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, stomach aches, or trouble sleeping. Remember, these ailments will seem to just show up, and you won't have any obvious reason for them. Always be sure to check with your doctor first to eliminate any illnesses. Constant negative thoughts: A psychic attack can cause a constant stream of negative thoughts, making it difficult to think positively or focus on daily tasks. You might notice that "all of a sudden," you don't find any pleasure or joy in things that are normally fun for you. Also, this lack of joy may start suddenly and go on for a significant period of time. Again, it's important to check in with your doctor or therapist to eliminate any more explainable reasons for a change like this. Unexpected mood changes: A psychic attack can cause unexpected mood changes, such as sudden bouts of anger, sadness, or irritability. These mood changes will be sudden and have "no apparent reason". Difficulty in communicating: While this one may seem off, a sign of a psychic attack can make it difficult to communicate effectively, whether it's with friends, family, or colleagues. Not only will you feel tongue-tied, but you may also find that the phone is always busy, text messages aren't sending, or when you say things, it is taken out of context. A sense of being watched or followed: A psychic attack can give you the sense of being watched or followed, even when you are alone. This is SUPER CREEPY! But trust me when I tell you if you notice a feeling of being watched or like there is someone or something in the room with you and you can't see it, don't ignore it. You aren't imagining it, and you aren't crazy. If this starts to happen, be sure to note when and where it seems to occur. see if you can spot a pattern attached to when this feeling comes on. It is important cause if you choose to get help, the person assisting you will use that information when deciding how to deal with this kind of attack. Unusual or vivid dreams: A psychic attack can cause unusual or vivid dreams, which may be disturbing or unsettling. I've experienced this firsthand. I'm actually a very vivid dreamer normally, but when this happened to me, the content of the dreams I was having became suddenly terrifying and deeply disturbing. The worst part was that I would wake up feeling totally creeped out, and that feeling would last all day long, and I just couldn't shake it. I didn't really think this would be part of a psychic attack, but once I figured out that it was and took the appropriate steps, they stopped entirely. If you find yourself entangled in a cobweb of any of these cryptic cues, there might just be a shadow of a psychic attack looming ominously over you. Fear not, my dear Mystic! If you believe you are experiencing an attack, the darling, call up your inner warrior and parry with protective maneuvers. And remember, in the grand scheme of things, it's never a bad idea to call in the cavalry of professional help. However, if you think you want to try and handle these goopy gremlins on your own, here are a few things you can try. - Visualize a protective shield around you: One of the most effective ways to keep yourself psychically protected is to visualize a protective shield around you. This shield can be made of any material that feels protective to you, such as a bubble, a wall, or a cloak. Imagine this shield surrounding you and blocking any negative energy or entities from entering your space. If you are a Reiki practitioner, you can also use the power of Reiki symbols to reinforce the shield around you! Use crystals and stones: Crystals and gemstones have been used for centuries to protect against negative energy. Some popular stones for psychic protection include black tourmaline, obsidian, hematite, snowflake obsidian, smoky quartz, pyrite and selenite. You can carry these stones with you, place them around your home, or wear them as jewelry. There are many more options, but these are my favourites. Cleanse your space: Regularly cleaning and clearing your space can help to remove any negative energy that may be present. This is a big one! You would be surprised how much regular cleansing can do. You can do this by burning sage, palo santo, or incense or by using a salt lamp. You can also use a singing bowl or chimes to clear the energy in your space. You can even use drumming, changing and prayer to help keep your space clean and clear of nasty energies. Ground and center yourself: Grounding and centring yourself is essential for psychic protection. This can be done by taking deep breaths, walking, or meditating. When you are grounded and centred, you can better tune into your intuition and identify when negative energy is present. Identify the signs of a psychic attack: It's important to be able to identify when you have suffered from a psychic attack so that you can take steps to protect yourself. This can be really challenging, but there are some questions you can ask yourself to determine the source of the attack. To start with - Have you pissed anyone off lately? I know that may seem pretty obvious, but here again, I would suggest that you should never underestimate how far angry or jealous people will go to make you miserable. If you can't think of anyone, then consider where you are when you notice some of the symptoms that I mentioned above. This will help you isolate the source of the attack. Get professional help: If you suspect you are experiencing a psychic attack, it can be helpful to seek out the help of a professional. Look for healers or practitioners who specialize in psychic protection, such as energy healers, shamans, or psychic mediums. There are several people who do this kind of work. However, you should be very careful when selecting someone to help you. Sadly, there are some people who don't always work with integrity in this department. I recommend asking around to see if someone you know and trust has any resources for help. Clearly, psychic attacks aren't fun, and they can happen to anyone. But, as you now know, there is lots you can do about it if it happens to you. The main thing to do is try not to freak out! Even though it may seem like the most illogical thing, think logically before jumping to conclusions. Do your due diligence and check in with your healthcare providers, therapists and or anyone else who can eliminate other sources of the above mentions. Nonetheless, if you are experiencing an attack, try some of the remedies above, and if you need to, call in help!

  • 5 Steps For Reading Minor Arcana Cards - It's Easy Peasy!

Hello, My Mystics! Are you struggling with the Minor Arcana? If you are, I don't blame you. Lots of times, people think that the minor arcana are really difficult to read, and there are so many of them it is really overwhelming. Like it's not bad enough, you have to learn to read the Major Arcana, but then when you get into the pips (old timey word for the minors) with their intricate and symbolic imagery, they often appear as an enigmatic puzzle awaiting decoding just as complicated as the majors. But what if I told you a little secret: the Minor Arcana cards, in their elegant simplicity, are meant to mirror our everyday lives? Yep, you read that right. The Minor Arcana is just like your favourite rom-com, drama, or thriller – pick your poison. There is no need to squint too hard or overanalyze; the cards often hold reflections of our daily narratives. Now if you're thinking that that's too damn simple - I can promise you it's not! I always say that to read tarot, you must first understand that it is a language of symbolism. Meaning that everything has more meaning than what is on the surface Ready to break it down? Let's roll up our sleeves and get started! Step 1. Suit Up! Our life is made of various elements, and so is the tarot deck. First off, pay attention to the suit of the card you’re looking at. They’re directly tied to the four elements, which are: Wands: Fire is associated with creativity, spirit, and motivation. Think of those lightbulb moments or fiery enthusiasm. Positively, fire is like a warm, crackling fire in your fireplace. Negatively, fire can be like a forest fire scorching everything in its path. Pentacles: Earth, symbolizing everything tangible. From the resources that make physical life possible to the chair you're sitting on, it’s all about resources and the material world. Pentacles are associated with everything we need to live physically in the world, from the food that grows in your garden to the house you live in, to your actual body. Swords: Air, is all about our thoughts, attitudes, and the words you choose. Have you ever had a sudden epiphany or felt like your mind is as volatile as a windstorm? That's the air element for you. Just like the sword that represents the airy and changing nature of our thoughts, this symbol reminds us that our words are tools, and our thoughts and attitudes determine how those words are used. Cups: Water, flowing with emotions, intuitive nudges, and deep dives into our subconscious. It’s all the feels! Water can be calm and unmoving or violent and overwhelming. Just like the symbol of the cups, water and our emotions are adaptable to whatever surrounds it. How you feel is directly affected by whatever environment you find yourself surrounded by. Knowing the suit provides a context, setting the scene for our tarot story. Step 2. A Picture Paints a Thousand Words Now, look closely at the figure gracing your card. Are they grinning from ear to ear or looking as though they spilled their morning coffee? Whatever they are doing and how they look while they are doing it will tell you lot about how to interpret the messages you are receiving. And while we're at it, let's clear up a little misconception. Gender in tarot isn’t always about male or female. Instead, it’s about the dance of energies - the soothing, nurturing yin energy versus the assertive, dynamic yang energy. Step 3. What’s the Buzz? Next, what's the main event on the card? Is the character raising a toast, hard at work crafting something, or perhaps taking a leisurely stroll? These activities aren't just filler content; they're the heart of the story! Like snapshots of our daily lives, they clue us into the prevailing theme. Let the figure's posture and energy give you insight into the vibe of the card. Step 4. All About Perspective Here’s a quick tip: orientation matters. Is your card upright or having a little lie-down (aka reversed)? This hints at whether the energy of the card is full steam ahead or maybe taking a slightly twisted route. If you aren't too comfortable reading reversals just yet, don't worry; you'll get it. Just take your time with it. invest in learning more about reversals and gradually add them to your readings. Just bear in mind that reversals actually double the number of cards you have in your deck... technically speaking, of course. This allows you to give even more detail and dimension to your readings. Step 5. The Devil’s in the Details Lastly, let your gaze wander and settle. What caught your eye? A radiant sunflower? A mysterious cloak? Or perhaps a vivid hue of blue? These seemingly minor details are your subconscious giving you a wink. They can be a goldmine of insights, so don’t brush them off! Believe it or not, there are several systems of your consciousness working all at once while you are reading your cards. Your conscious mind is assessing the cards, trying to relate meaning to each of the cards, while your subconscious is using feeling and memory to sus out meanings. Your higher self or psychic (trust me, you have it) awareness is also feeding you info; when you combine what you know with what you feel your readings power up exponentially. Also, those parts of the image that pop out to you are meant to catch your attention as they will help guide your interpretation. Welp, There's lots more I could tell you, but I'm sure you got other stuff yu need to do. I hope this helps! Thanks so much for reading!! Love you Alysa Wanna learn more about reading Tarot? Awesome! • Reiki & Chakras, What Practitioners Know

When I started my reiki journey, I was super skeptical. I had heard all the buzz from people about how relaxing and healing it was. However, it wasn't until I experienced reiki for myself did my tune change. If you know me or have taken one of my reiki classes, you will have heard this story. It was sometime in 2012 when I had a nerve injury to my lower back (something I have struggled with on and off for most of my adult life.) I was in so much pain that I had taken days off of work and even taken a trip to my doctor's office to get some relief. Sadly none of that helped. I was basically laying on my bed curled in a ball of ouch!! On day 3 or 4 of bed-bound torture, I received a phone call from a friend. She could hear the strain of pain in my voice, and of course, she asked what the trouble was. In response to her concern, I explained my stupid circumstance, and without pause, she asked me if I would like a reiki session. Despite my skepticism, I was willing to try anything. Within a few hours, she arrived at my house and went straight to work on me. To tell you the truth, I have no idea how long the session was. But, what I can tell you is that I did feel something even though she never laid a hand on me. By the time she had finished working on me, I felt distinctly different - better! I slowly sat up from my bed and gingerly raised myself to stand. And to my shock, I felt good! I could move without excruciating pain. To make a longish story short, I needed to learn what I thought was some witchy Jedi magic. While I was a bit wrong about it being witchy and magic, I was 100% correct on the need to learn about it. So I started the first step on what would become a fantastic healing journey. This learning would take me along a path that would bring me to learn much more about the energetic systems of the human body. One of the major components is the Chakra (pronounced chaa·kruh) system. Reiki is a form of energy healing that involves the transfer of healing energy through the practitioner's hands to the recipient. The seven major chakras are energy centers located along the spine that are believed to correspond to different aspects of physical and emotional well-being. By understanding the characteristics and functions of each chakra, Reiki practitioners can gain insight into the specific needs of their clients and tailor their healing sessions accordingly. Additionally, working with the chakras can help the practitioner balance and align their own energy, leading to improved overall health and well-being. Each chakra is associated with a different colour, element, and set of characteristics. The first chakra, or the root chakra, is located at the base of the spine and is associated with the colour red. It is associated with the element earth and is believed to be related to our sense of grounding and security. The second chakra, or the sacral chakra, is located just below the navel and is associated with the colour orange. It is associated with the element water and is believed to be related to our emotional and sexual well-being. The third chakra, or the solar plexus chakra, is located in the upper abdomen and is associated with the colour yellow. It is associated with the element fire and is believed to be related to our personal power and self-esteem. The fourth chakra, or the heart chakra, is located in the center of the chest and is associated with the colour green. It is associated with the element air and is believed to be related to our ability to love and connect with others. The fifth chakra, or the throat chakra, is located in the throat and is associated with the colour blue. It is associated with the element sound and is believed to be related to our communication and self-expression. The sixth chakra, or the third eye chakra, is located in the forehead and is associated with the colour indigo. It is associated with the element of light and is believed to be related to our intuition and wisdom. The seventh chakra, or the crown chakra, is located at the top of the head and is associated with the colour violet. It is associated with the element of thought and is believed to be related to our connection to a higher power or spiritual understanding. Reiki practitioners use hand positions and techniques to channel healing energy to the recipient's chakras. By placing their hands on or near specific areas of the body, practitioners can help to balance and align the corresponding chakra. For example, placing the hands on the lower abdomen can help to balance the second chakra, which is associated with emotions and sexuality. Reiki can also help to clear blockages in the chakras, which can occur due to stress, trauma, or other negative experiences. These blockages can prevent the free flow of energy through the body, leading to physical and emotional imbalances. By clearing these blockages, Reiki can help to restore balance and promote well-being. Reiki can also help to balance and align the chakras by promoting relaxation and reducing stress. Stress can cause the chakras to become imbalanced, leading to a range of physical and emotional problems. By reducing stress and promoting relaxation, Reiki can help to balance the chakras and improve overall well-being. It's important to note that Reiki is considered a complementary therapy, and results may vary; it's not a substitute for medical treatment. People should consult with healthcare professionals if they have any health concerns. If you are interested in learning Reiki, I am a practitioner and teacher. I teach Reiki from 3 different lineages, and I'm super passionate about helping people to participate in their own healing as well as teaching the same tools that have improved my life to other seekers. In my career, I am what you might call a professional mystic. I teach and work with spiritual seekers from all over the world. My love and passion for the mystic arts are what drives me to keep creating, sharing and educating others. I love to bring my diverse knowledge of metaphysical knowledge and depth of experience to my clients and students through providing intuitive and spiritual services. I'm Known for my ability to blend fun with professionalism, and I'm proud to offer nearly three decades of esoteric experience, which includes the co-creation of the Sirian Starseed Tarot, several books, classes, manuals & the Seekers Oracle. • Spiritual Awakening Kicking Your Ass? Try These 7 Things

A spiritual awakening can be a profound and transformative experience, but it is not without its difficulties. I know from both personal experiences as well as helping silver people over the years just how hard this process can be. Lots of times, when people are in the earliest stages of their spiritual awakening, it can be really disorienting... even dark at times. I remember going through a period where I was just sort of shocked at humanity, and I didn't feel like I could connect to anyone because of it. Here are some common challenges that people may face as they go through this process: Disorientation and confusion: The awakening process can be disorienting, as it often involves a shift in perspective and a re-evaluation of one's beliefs and values. This can lead to feelings of confusion and uncertainty and a sense of being lost or disconnected from the world. Fear and resistance: Awakening can also evoke feelings of fear and resistance, as it may involve letting go of familiar patterns and ways of being. This can be especially challenging if one's identity is closely tied to these patterns, and letting go of them feels like a loss of self. Emotional upheaval: Awakening can also trigger intense emotional reactions, such as feelings of sadness, anger, and frustration. This is because the process often involves facing and releasing long-held feelings and traumas that have been suppressed or denied. Physical symptoms: Some people may also experience physical symptoms during an awakening, such as fatigue, headaches, and changes in appetite or sleep patterns. These symptoms can result from the body's adjustment to the changes happening on a deeper level. Social isolation: The awakening process can also lead to feelings of isolation and disconnection from others. This is because the awakened person may see the world differently than those around them and may have difficulty relating to others who have not had similar experiences. Difficulty in integrating the experience: Some people may have difficulty integrating the spiritual experience into their everyday lives. They may struggle to balance the new perspective and understanding gained from the experience and the practical realities of living in the world. It is important to note that these difficulties are not unique to spiritual awakening, and everyone's experience will be different. However, it is essential to be aware of these potential difficulties so that you can prepare for them and seek support if needed. It's kinda like reading the back of a bottle of Remember that the process of spiritual awakening is a journey and that each step of the way is an opportunity for growth and transformation. Additionally, it is important to find a spiritual teacher or a community of people who have gone through similar experiences, to help guide you through the process. They can provide valuable support and guidance and help you navigate the difficulties that may arise. By being aware of the common challenges that may arise and seeking support when needed, we can navigate these difficulties and continue on the journey of spiritual growth and transformation. Here are a few things I know will help you. I'm pretty sure that you have heard at least one or two of them (I know i did). Even if you think you can't meditate or that you've already tried these things in the past and they didn't work as expected, just give it another go. At worst, you lose a bit of time, at best, you find a new way to process life through your new awareness. Journaling: Keeping a journal is a great way to process and understand the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that come with a spiritual awakening. Writing down your experiences can help you make sense of them and can also serve as a valuable reference for later on. Meditating: Meditation is a powerful tool for connecting with the present moment and connecting with your higher self. It can help you release stress, anxiety and negative thoughts and can also help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your spiritual journey. Connecting with nature: Nature has a powerful way of grounding us and reminding us of our connection to the earth. Spending time outdoors, whether it be hiking, gardening, or simply sitting in a park, can help you feel more connected to the natural world and to your own spiritual path. Practicing gratitude: Being grateful for the things in your life can help you cultivate a positive attitude and shift your focus away from negative thoughts. This can be done through journaling, meditation, or simply by taking a moment each day to reflect on the things in your life that you are grateful for. Reading spiritual texts: Reading spiritual texts can provide valuable insights and guidance for your spiritual journey. These texts can range from ancient spiritual texts like the Bhagavad Gita or the Tao Te Ching to modern spiritual teachers like Eckhart Tolle or Wayne Dyer. Engaging in spiritual practices: Engaging in spiritual practices such as yoga, tai chi, or chanting can help you connect with your spiritual self and deepen your understanding of your spiritual path. Surrounding yourself with supportive people: Surrounding yourself with supportive friends and family can help you through the challenging times that come with a spiritual awakening. They can provide a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and a sense of community. A spiritual awakening can be a transformative and profound experience, but it can also be difficult and challenging. By journaling, meditating, connecting with nature, practicing gratitude, reading spiritual texts, engaging in spiritual practices, and surrounding yourself with supportive people, you can navigate this journey and emerge stronger, more connected, and more enlightened. • Chakra Meditation To Recharge The Soul

Chakra meditation helps to strengthen weak chakras and will benefit your health, wisdom and happiness. If you need to recharge your body, mind and soul, then using chakra meditation is an excellent way to revitalize you from the inside out. How to perform a chakra meditation: The first few times you practice chakra meditation, make sure you have an expert to guide you, face to face or use an online video. You need to ensure that your chakras are left more in balance at the end of the meditation than when you started! Start your meditation by sitting cross-legged in a quiet, dimly lit room. Make sure that your spine is straight but not stiff. Close your eyes, then take a deep breath and start to relax. Now, go through each chakra in turn, starting with the root chakra: -Imagine that you are drawing energy up from the earth through the root chakra and that this is building up in the base of your spine. -Then, the navel chakra: feel the concentration of energy building up around your navel and visualize a flow of warm lava out of this chakra center. -Moving on to the solar plexus chakra, let your stomach muscles relax deeply and sense the movement of the energy through your diaphragm. -Next is the heart chakra. Imagine your heart getting stronger with every breath. See and feel a bright light radiating out from this area. -Progressing on to the throat chakra, breathing in with force. Then gradually relax your tongue, shoulders and neck. -For the brow chakra, keeping your eyes closed, focus on your “third eye” (the point between your eyebrows). Endeavour to see this area even though your eyes are close and observe what you are seeing. -Finally, it’s the crown chakra. Visualize a beautiful lotus with a thousand petals blossoming from the tip of your head. As you visualize, see the colour change from deep violet through to a brilliant white light. Done correctly, the chakra meditation can bring you into union with the Spirit. It is a very powerful form of meditation and helps you stabilize your body, bringing a feeling of inner peace and harmony. • How To Price Your Tarot Readings - A Newbies Guide

So, you're ready to strike out on your own and make a career from doing what you love most - reading tarot cards and helping people! After teaching tarot to students all over the world, I've discovered that one of the biggest questions students have is - "How do I know how much the charge"? When you're just getting started, this is probably one of those questions that makes every new tarot professional cringe just a little bit. I get it! As a professional tarot reader, one of the most important aspects of running your business is determining the right price for your readings. Pricing your services correctly is essential for attracting and retaining clients while also ensuring that you can earn a fair income for your time and expertise. In this blog post, I wanted to give you some tips and strategies for effectively pricing your tarot readings. Research the market: Before setting your prices, it's important to research the market and see your area and those who offer similar services and experience. This will give you a better idea of the going rate for tarot readings in your area and help you determine a fair price for your own services. Whatever you do - make sure you stay competitive... DO NOT lower your price because you want to attract customers or because you feel unqualified. Choose a price in the middle, not too high and not too low. This will ensure that you get business while also not undercutting yourself. Consider your experience and qualifications: Your level of experience and qualifications should be a factor in determining your prices. If you have been reading tarot for many years and have a lot of experience, you may be able to charge more than someone who is just starting out. Additionally, if you have certifications or training in other areas, such as counselling or coaching, you may be able to charge more for your services. Keep in mind that even if you are starting out, you can still charge a fair amount. Factor in your expenses: When pricing your readings, you should also consider the expenses associated with running your business. This includes the cost of your website, internet, business cards, advertising, and any equipment or materials you may need. The good thing is that you may be able to include your expenses into your accounting when you do your taxes. Offer different price points: Not every client is able to afford the same price point, so it's a good idea to offer different price points to cater to different budgets. You can offer a basic reading at a lower price point and a more in-depth, longer reading at a higher price point. You can use many strategies to create different-priced readings, including combining tarot with other modalities you offer. To entice customers, you can also use marketing strategies like bo-go readings, discounts, or other incentives. Just play around and experiment with different approaches. Be transparent: Be upfront and clear about your pricing, including any additional costs or fees. This will help avoid any confusion or dissatisfaction from clients and will also establish trust and a professional image. So, for example, if you have to charge taxes, describe that in your pricing. Also, there is some debate about whether to post your prices on your website or social media. I say that you should openly post your prices. Review your prices regularly: It's a good idea to review your prices regularly to ensure that they are still in line with the market and that you are able to earn a fair income for your services. In summary, pricing your tarot readings is an important aspect of running your business and requires some research and consideration. By researching the market, considering your experience and qualifications, factoring in your expenses, offering different price points, being flexible, being transparent, and reviewing your prices regularly, you can determine fair prices for your services that will attract and retain clients while also ensuring that you are able to earn a fair income.
