Hi! You found me!

Maybe you are feeling a little fried and you need to ground. You need to balance your wobble and get back to the normal you. Let me introduce you to a little friend of mine - Hematite!

Hematite, also spelled as haematite, is the mineral form of iron oxide, and is one of several iron oxides present in the mineral kingdom. It is the oldest known iron oxide mineral that has ever formed on earth, which is very cool. It’s like having an old friend in your pocket with you wherever you go.

Hematite Has a steadying affect and is a perfect choice for when you need to ground your energies. The polished variety has a nice way of deflecting negative thought forms and energy. Hematite helps to clear your mind and it’s vibration connects you to the more logical and methodical thinking patterns, calming your mind and assisting you in making critical decisions.

It’s also interesting to note that Hematite was even used by the ancient Egyptians as a amulet of to protect and shield them from madness. Sometimes it is referred to as "the lawyer's stone" as it is believed to bring favorable outcomes in legal matters. Historically this belief has its roots in the writings of Babylonian author Azchalias who wrote that Hematite would aid in petitions to the King and the petitioner would be victorious in lawsuits. Personally, I’d always advise you to lean on the guidance of a good lawyer, but it wouldn’t hurt to have a Hematite in your pocket. Also worth mentioning, Hematite was used as a powerful talisman for ancient warriors in the north of England because it was believed to preserve the blood or life essence of a fallen soldier wounded in battle most likely because of the red streaks that can be found in the stone.

In astrology Hematite has a connection to Mars & Saturn, Aries and Capricorn.
