Purple has a soothing affect for most people just by looking at it. It seems to soften the energy around you somewho. When I first discovered about Lepidolite it was because I was doing some research on behalf of a client who was having a hard time dealing with their intense emotions. They were going through a particularly time in their lives and were having a hard time regulating their emotions. They felt that they were just spinning out of control, emotions flipping from stress and anxiety to anger and frustration. They expressed feeling as though they were overtaken by the intensity of the emotional roller-coaster they were on. 

So of course my first thoughts lead to Amethyst and when I mentioned that they said they already had some and it wasn’t doing anything to calm the energy. Which admittedly I found odd and unexpected . So I went to my trusty book case and did a deep dive into some research. I looked through all my books on crystals and boy howdy there were 101 different suggested crystals for stress and intensive emotions. So, at some point or another I found lepidolite! What got my attention first was the soft lilac/ purple tones of the crystal . Then when I read that it Alleviates stress and despondency especially during periods of transition, I knew I hit the jackpot! I suggested this stone to my client because it helps in brining a person thruough tough changes more smoothly. It helps you to accomplish this through promoting selfpreservation and fostering honesty and openness. 

It is also AWESOME for locating energy obstructions and blockages. It is also one of my favorite stones to use for creating grids. Combined with Howlite it is a perfect set of anti nightmare stones. Some even say that Lepidolite can assist one in gardening activities and agriculture. At the end of the day what makes this crystal so amazing is that it brings deep emotional healing, soothing and reduces stress and depression. 

Lepidolite dissipates negativity and activates the throat, heart, third eye chakras and helps you to combine your intuition with your intellect. It also is renowned for its ability to help you open your crown chakra, clearing blockages and bringing cosmic awareness.
